Well of course my Top 9 pictures were all going to include Sophie. She really has been the story of our year. We started out 2018 having only found out we were going to be Dads 10 days earlier which was certainly the best Christmas present ever - a massive thanks to Lisa and her Family goes without saying.
To some extent, we wished away a lot of the year waiting for her to arrive so the year has absolutely flown by while we went full pelt into getting everything ready. And then, on September 10th, she arrived. This beautiful little girl has brought so much love and joy to us. It is fitting that my number 1 picture from this year was from the day she was born. I remember being amazed by all the love and support we were getting as my phone was buzzing away all day.
Both Marc and I have now had our first birthdays as Dadda and Daddy, making those birthdays incredibly special, right through to our first Christmas as a family. Christmas 2018 will always be fondly remembered but we know they are going to get even better as Sophie grows.
Sophie is now 16 weeks old and we continue to watch in wonder as she grows and develops. It has been a real joy to be able to share that while also keeping a record that we can show to her in the future.
We are so grateful and appreciative to have the family and friends that we do and all the support we have received. So to everyone that has been a part of our year, whether it was in person, reading the blog, watching a video or just liking a picture, thank you. To each and every one of you, I hope your 2018 ends on a high note and that you have a wonderful start to 2019.
